TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Lake Travis Delivery LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides delivery and courier services subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By booking or using our services, the customer ("Customer," "you") agrees to be bound by these terms.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

We are a point-to-point delivery and concierge service. We are NOT a moving company.

●     1.1 Permitted Services:

○     Transportation of items from Point A to Point B.

○     Curbside load and unload (street level).

○     Same-day delivery (subject to availability).

○     Handling of pre-packaged items and retail purchases.

●     1.2 Excluded Services (What We Do Not Do):

○     Full residential or commercial moves (Moving Services).

○     Carrying furniture or heavy items up or down flights of stairs.

○     Assembly or disassembly of furniture or equipment.

○     Packing services (all items must be ready for transport).

○     Entering private residences beyond the threshold/garage.

2. SERVICE AREA AND PRICING

●     2.1 Primary Radius: Our standard pricing applies to deliveries within a 10-mile radius of our Lakeway, Texas headquarters.

●     2.2 Extended Zone: Deliveries outside this radius are subject to additional mileage fees, which will be quoted prior to service confirmation.

●     2.3 Heavy/Large Items: To maintain competitive low pricing, Customer assistance is required for loading and unloading large or heavy objects (e.g., furniture, large appliances) at both the pickup and drop-off locations. If the Customer cannot provide assistance, the service may be declined or a "Two-Person Crew" surcharge will be applied (must be requested in advance).

3. DELIVERY WINDOWS

●     3.1 Standard Delivery: We aim for same-day delivery. However, depending on route volume and workload, small deliveries or non-urgent items may take up to 24 hours to complete.

●     3.2 Delays: The Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, or force majeure events.

4. PAYMENT AND TAXES (Texas Comptroller Compliance)

●     4.1 Courier Service Only: For simple point-to-point transport where the Customer already owns the item, the service fee is generally non-taxable under current Texas regulations.

●     4.3 Payment Methods: Payment is due upon delivery or prior to dispatch, as agreed during booking.

5. FAILED DELIVERIES AND CANCELLATIONS

●     5.1 Recipient Availability: The Customer must ensure someone is available to receive the item at the destination.

●     5.2 Missed Delivery Penalty: If the recipient is not present and the item cannot be safely left (or requires a signature/payment), the item will be returned to our facility.

○     Double Shipping Charge: The Customer will be charged the original delivery fee PLUS a return fee (equal to the delivery fee) for the return trip.

○     Redelivery will require a new booking and fee.

●     5.3 No Returns: All service fees are non-refundable once the driver has been dispatched. We do not accept returns of merchandise on behalf of retailers unless a specific "Return Service" is booked and paid for separately.

6. LIABILITY AND WAIVERS

●     6.1 Item Condition: We transport items "as is." We are not responsible for the internal functionality of electronics or boxed items (e.g., a TV that does not work upon unboxing) unless there is visible external damage caused by our negligence during transport.

●     6.2 Customer Assistance Waiver: Since our low-cost model relies on Customer assistance for heavy loads, Lake Travis Delivery LLC is not liable for any personal injury sustained by the Customer or their agents while assisting with loading or unloading. By choosing to assist, you assume all risk of injury.

●     6.3 Curbside Limit: Our insurance covers curbside delivery. If a driver enters a Customer’s property (e.g., driveway, garage) at the Customer's request, the Customer assumes liability for any minor property damage (e.g., lawn tracks, pavement scrapes).

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Travis County, Texas.


Fine Print / Terms of Service

  • Combo Eligibility: The "5 for $25" special applies exclusively to Micro-Express items (under 5 lbs).
  • Weight Limit: Any item exceeding 5 lbs will be charged according to our standard Light Standard or Medium rates.
  • Service Area: These promotional rates are strictly limited to a 5-mile radius within the Lakeway/78738 area.
  • One-Man Handling: All items must be manageable by a single person without the use of specialized lifting equipment.
  • Expiration: Bundle deliveries must be redeemed within 90 days from the date of purchase.
  • Excluded Items: Not valid for hazardous materials, fragile glass, or high-value jewelry.
